8. STATIC PAGES

The Static Pages module provides a list of the pages included on the website and it also provides detailed information on every page:

Page Name – displays the title of the page.

Edit button – gives you the possibility to update any existing information related to the selected page.

Delete button – this option is available only for the newly created pages.
To add a new Static page:
1. Click
Add New Static Page.
In the General tab:
2. Enter the Page Name.
3. Enter a textual Description using the text editor.
4. Click on
Next to be directed to the Description tab.
In the Description tab:
5. Use the text editor to add a description of the page. The description will be visible on the website on the corresponding page.
6. Click on
Next to be directed to the SEO tab.
In the SEO tab:
7. Enter the URL (optional).
8. Enter the Title (optional).
9. Enter the Keywords (optional).
10. Enter a textual Description (optional).
SEO Tip: Try to avoid using long titles and/or excessive keyword repetition.
11. Click on
Save to add the page to the list.
To update Static Page related information:
1. Click on
Edit button corresponding to the page you want to update.
2. Perform all the necessary updates.
3. Click on
Save to record the updates and return to the Static Pages List.
To delete a Static Page:
Note: Only the user–created pages can be deleted.
1. Click on the
Delete button corresponding to the static page you want to remove.
2. Click on
Yes to remove the static page from the list. Clicking on
No cancels the delete action and returns you to the Static Pages List.
