8. NEWS

The News module has been especially designed to offer flexibility and maximum efficiency to both the administrator and the end user. Moreover, the News module represents an excellent opportunity to add new content on the website especially for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The
latest two news will be displayed on the Home page.
This module also provides detailed information on every record:

News Title – displays the title of the News.

Date Created – indicates the date when the news has been created.

Downloaded – indicates the number of downloads corresponding to each coupon.

Active – indicates the status of the news.
-
View button – provides a link to the News.
-
Edit button – gives you the possibility to update any existing information related to the selected news.

Delete button – enables you to remove existing news.
To add News:
1. Click
Add News.
In the General tab:
2. Select either Active or Inactive option.
3. Enter the News Title (mandatory).
4. Enter the Content of the news using the text editor (mandatory).
5. Click on
Save to be directed to the SEO tab.
In the SEO tab:
6. Enter the URL (optional).
7. Enter the Title (optional).
8. Enter the Keywords (optional).
9. Enter a textual Description (optional).
SEO Tip: Try to avoid using long titles and/or excessive keyword repetition.
10. Click on
Save to add the News to the list.
Clicking on
Close directs you to the News List without adding the new record.
To view News:
Click on the
View button corresponding to each record to access the News page.
To update News related information:
1. Click on
Edit button corresponding to the News you want to update.
2. Perform all the necessary updates.
3. Click on
Save to record the updates and return to the News List.
Clicking on
Close directs you to the News List without saving the updates performed on the selected record.
To delete News:
1. Click on the
Delete button corresponding to the News you want to remove.
2. Click on
Yes to remove the News from the list. Clicking on
No cancels the delete action and returns you to the News List.
